6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Bulgarian consumer protection law, consumers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason.
Waiver of withdrawal right for digital services: If you request immediate access to digital content or services (e.g., curriculum access, coaching sessions, community membership) before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, you acknowledge and agree that you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the service has begun with your explicit prior consent.
To exercise your right of withdrawal before service begins, contact us at legal@devschool.io using the subject line "Withdrawal Notice" within 14 days of your purchase date.
This section applies to EU consumers. Refund rights for clients in other jurisdictions are governed by the applicable program's refund policy communicated at the time of purchase.
7. Refund Policy
Except as required by the right of withdrawal described above or applicable mandatory law, all sales are final. Refund eligibility, if any, is described in the specific program materials you received at the time of enrollment.
We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances. Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Users from Other Jurisdictions
DevSchool is a Bulgarian entity operating solely under the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union. We do not have a legal presence, registered representative, or local entity in any other country.
These Terms expressly address clients located in the EU, USA, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina. If you access or use our services from any other country or territory — including but not limited to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Taiwan, or any jurisdiction not specifically addressed herein — the following applies:
- No local compliance representation: DevSchool does not represent, warrant, or guarantee that its services, content, contracting practices, or payment methods comply with the laws, regulations, or licensing requirements of your local jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for verifying that your use of our services is lawful where you are located.
- No local consumer protections: We do not extend jurisdiction-specific consumer rights, cooling-off periods, or statutory protections beyond those expressly described in these Terms for the listed jurisdictions. Local consumer protection laws of unlisted countries may still apply to you independently, but DevSchool does not administer or guarantee them.
- Your responsibility: By accessing our services from an unlisted jurisdiction, you confirm that doing so is permitted under your local laws and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with a Bulgarian entity. You accept sole responsibility for any consequences arising from a failure to comply with applicable local law.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold DevSchool harmless from any claim, fine, liability, loss, or legal expense arising out of your access to or use of our services in a jurisdiction whose laws you have not complied with.
DevSchool reserves the right to refuse service to, or terminate the account of, any user located in a jurisdiction where providing our services would expose DevSchool to legal or regulatory risk.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and DevSchool with respect to the Services.
